It was divine and bovine…

Many thanks to all of you who braved the heat and to my dear friends at Salon Emage for the world’s best book launch party! I’ll have more pictures at some point, and I’ll post them, but for now please enjoy these two of Joyce the Cow. She’s the one in the pearls, in case you’re unsure!

I look better in this shot (above)...
but Joyce takes the hay here. (Please God, somebody put a bag on my head!)

It was hot but moo-velous. Thanks to Martin’s Angus Beef for loaning us lovely Joyce, and Second Chapter Books for helping me sell 107 copies of 500 Acres and No Place to Hide. And thanks, as always, to the beautiful and talented Kimberly Petro for taking these — and dozens of other — pictures!

This just in! Tune in to the Joan Hamburg Show on WOR 710AM this Thursday, August 4th, at 1:06pm. NJ and NY friends, you can listen live and EVERYONE can stream it. Click on the link above, then hit “Listen Live” when you’re on the site. Log on around 1pm to be sure you catch my chat with the great one!

Follow, like, share! 🙂
