Tomorrow night’s a big night for the Culpeper Literacy Council. Not because I’m the featured speaker, not because my husband’s award-winning wines will be available, but because it’s your chance to come out and support the work they do in the community. Thanks to the CLC, non-English speaking adults are learning to read and write, getting their GEDs and their Citizenship. They’re going to college, improving their job skills, and making better lives for themselves and their families.
So join me at Germanna Community College Daniel Technology Center, 18121 Technology Drive, Culpeper. Doors open at 6pm, and my presentation starts at 7pm. Tomorrow — Thursday, October 17th. Thanks to the wonderful folks at Second Chapter Books, copies of both my books will be available for purchase and of course I’ll sign them for you.
