In-store Events

Postponed for a wonderful reason…

The event scheduled for today at The Griffin Bookshop & Coffee Bar in Fredericksburg, VA has been rescheduled for Sat. Dec. 21st, 2-4pm. Why? Because the books ordered for today’s signing have almost completely sold out!

They’ll order more and I’ll be at the shop in two weeks. Come on out for some last minute holiday shopping, a piping hot beverage, and a signed book. They make great gifts. 🙂

Get ye to The Griffin!

This coming Saturday, December 7th, I’ll be signing copies of 500 Acres and No Place to Hide at The Griffin Bookshop & Coffee Bar in Fredericksburg, VA. Ever  been there? It’s incredible.

Cozy, yummy, and smack in the middle of boutique and fabulous-shop-filled Caroline Street. Can you say “finish your Christmas list“? I sure can.

I’ll be at The Griffin (723 Caroline Street, 540-899-8041) from 2-4pm. After that, I’ll be out playing Santa. Shhhhh. Don’t tell Chris!

Invest in the future of beauty

Call today to make your appointment at Salon Emage Day Spa’s 1st Annual Charity Cut-A-Thon to benefit the Lord Fairfax Foundation’s Salon Emage Day Spa Up and Coming Cosmetologist Scholarship!

If you’ve never tried Salon Emage, or would like to treat someone else to a haircut there, or if you are a current client and just need an excuse to go again (like me!), this is a great day to do it. Salon Emage is the #1 salon in Northern Virginia, so you’re getting a great cut at a great price(suggested donation for a haircut is just $50) for a great cause. 100% of the proceeds will go to fund two Cosmetology scholarships in the salon’s name.

Don’t wait a moment more. Call 540-341-4052 to make your appointment. A great cut for an awesome cause PLUS gift bags and a complimentary glass of wine. Is there a better way to spend a Monday? I don’t think so! See you there!
