And what you don’t eat, you can toss at me while I’m speaking!
That’s right, I’m the guest speaker at Lord Fairfax Community College’s annual Shrimp Feast Fundraiser.
The event features a silent auction, live entertainment with Chicago-based hypnotist Chris Jones, and me. (Why me? Because my kid goes to school there!) Tickets are $50 per person ($30 of which is tax deductible) for all-you-can-eat and drink shrimp, chicken, homemade desserts, and beer. All proceeds benefit the LFCC Educational Foundation. The foundation provides financial support for a variety of needs at the college, including scholarships, academic programs, and facility upgrades.
